Fine chip sunflower seed is our finest grind of hulled black oil sunflower seed. It is a great option if you are wanting non-sprouting seed that attracts a variety of birds. Fine chip feeds all kind of birds, including birds that aren't usually found eating seeds.

We recommend switching to fine chip sunflower if you start noticing any mess with medium chip, or if you get a lot of American Goldfinch and Pine Siskins visiting.Fine chip is best suited for drier weather and can be prone to sticking together and absorbing moisture as it has no protective shell against wet weather.
