Feeder not included. Hook attachment allows suet feeders to be hung upside down to help deter starlings from feeding at it. make sure when hanging that there is no way to access the suet from the top.

Birds such as chickadees and woodpeckers have no issues hanging upside down from feeders, though it can take them some time to figure out that's how to access the food. Starlings have more difficulty doing so, and hanging your feeder this way can slow them down, if it doesn't stop them outright.
